UPSC Engineering Services Final Result 2016 / UPSC IES ESE Result 2016 : UPSC (Union Civil Service Commission) conducts a review of the engineering services or a combined competition for recruitment in various services such as civil engineering, electronics, mechanics, electrical engineering and telecommunications . Candidates who possess a B.E / BTech bachelor's degree from a recognized university or MSc degree in radio physics, electronics, radio engineering, wireless communication are eligible for IES examination. The exam is held for the selection of engineers for the Government of India Engineering entities such as Central Engineering Services, Indian Railway Service of Engineers and Military Engineering Services.

The IES agents are selected in two stages. In the first step, the written exam is done. It is divided into sections. In Section I, the objective questions are asked and Section II includes the conventional paper. Section I consists of two documents. The paper I is 200 marks and the duration of this paper is two hours and the paper II is held for the subjects concerned (Civil, Electronics, Electrical and Mechanical). Paper II is 200 points. Section II is of the classical type and there are two articles in this section in which questions on particular subjects are asked. Each paper is 200 brands and lasting 3 hours. Candidates who qualify for the Section II examination are given the opportunity to appear for the review of Section II. Only candidates eligible for Sections I and II will be permitted to appear for the Personality Test. The personality test is 200 points.
