According to our analysis on online ticket booking platforms, it is expected that the film will inevitably cross the mark of 60% occupancy on opening day. Dangal collections for the first day are projected to more than 25 crore crore being the day of release. The primary response can be seen from Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab. However, Central India has not shown much interest in booking tickets in advance.

Cities like Mumbai and Delhi will register an occupation of 80% over the first 3 days. Since Aamir Khan has made his fans wait so long for a movie, fans will also make it perfect. The response of multiplexes and simple screens is at par. However, according to analysis, simple screens will register a much higher occupancy because of the ticket.

For Multiplexes, showing a movie over 2 hours is hard work. Dangal might lose the plot here. The movie should come out with a run time of 161 minutes which will be a challenge for movie owners as they might need to miss other movie screening for the movie.

Dangal collection for the first day is expected to cross 25 crores. With about 90 crore Rupees returning from the domestic market before the weekend ends. Earnings for the first weekend abroad should reach the mark of 35 crores rupees. Overall, the film should earn 125 crores for the first weekend.
