This will definitely affect the Force 2 collection, but a positive response is expected. Many theaters had fixed the price at 500 rs and accepting the old banknotes to avoid a planned failure.

The overall occupation during the first day of Boxing Force 2 was pretty decent. Morning shows observed a 20-70% fill rate in many theaters in Delhi, Mumbai and other major cities. Multiplexes remains stronger compared to simple screens. The midday shows did not receive a good response and moderate occupation is observed throughout the country. There could be a rise in the evening as there was no other outing in the last 3 weeks and the audience is desperately waiting for a movie.
It does not seem to be easy for Force 2 collection to reach the figure of 5 crores on the opening day because of the issue of currency. The film could have cruised 7 crores on an average opening day, but no hope from now on. The sequel is more fierce and well made compared to its previous part. The connection between the stories could have been better. John directs the story and makes the command at every point despite having Sonakshi as his senior officer, and that's grating.
Sonakshi seems to be just above a decorative piece in the film. F2 is simply simple, but the mix of action and romance is not going well. It feels unbearable at some point of time. Rest of the Force 2 is correct to have a decent flow and exciting sequences. One of the car sequences is very well executed. It's a pleasure to watch for fans of John and Sonakshi and action lovers.
