Priyadarshan is selected as the best director for his film Oppam. Kunchacko Boban is the man of the year. The legendary music director AK Arjunan will receive the Lifetime achievement award. Mohanlal is the most popular actor for the distribution of blockbusters Oppam and Pulimurugan while Pulimurugan is the most popular film.

Manikandan Achari is selected as the best second actor for his amazing performance in Kammatipadam. Aju Varghese is the support actor of the year for Ann Maria Kalipilanu. In the best performance category: Tovino Thomas is the best actor for Guppy. Vedhika is the best actress for James and Alice. The prize of excellence is awarded to Asha Sharath for the films Anuraga Karikkin Vellam and Paavada. Renji Panicker is the best character actor of the year.

In the new category of the generation, Shane Nigam is the best actor for Kismath while Aparna Balamurali is the best actress for Maheshinte Prathikaram. Kabir Bedi is the best scoundrel for Anarkali. Gopi Sunder is the best music director for his score in the films Kali, Charlie and Pulimurugan. The best lyricist is Hari Narayanan. M G Sreekumar is the singer (male) of the song Chinamma in Oppam. KS Chithra is the singer of the year for her songs in Pulimurugan and Thoppil Joppan.
