Chiranjeevi is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars Tollywood has ever seen. A huge star of the Chiru masses has always had a humongous suite all over the world and was the top hero for his time. But he thought of something different and chose to enter politics. He flaunted his own party but unfortunately he did not win many seats and even merged his party with Congress disappointing a lot. So much happened during the nine-year gap that Chiranjeevi went through a lot of pressure to make a comeback he never did. Eventually, after much delay dilly he broke the news that he is interested in making a comeback and will soon make a movie that will be his 150th film. But even after he made the announcement nothing happened because he did not find a perfect script for his return. He rejected the stories of even people like Puri Jagan and was in the news all the time. In a way, his team laid their hands on the Tamil film Kaththi which, according to them, was a perfect return film for the star.
The script was locked and Chiru and the gang felt that Vinayak would do a super job as a director and entrusted him with homework. So the project was set up and Charan son of Chiru took the mantle of the production of the film himself and the project went on the floors without the heroine. As time passed Kajal was confirmed to play the female lead in the film. So many big heads have joined hands for the film and now the project is complete and ready for release. Based on the problems of farmers, this film has been altered much to suit the stature of Chiru and his age. Acclaimed to be a full mass animator the music of the film is already a huge success and DSP won half the battle with its mass numbers. But the great thing began when the decision makers decided to release him during the Sankranthi season which had yet another biggie releasing in the form of Balakrishna Gautamiputra Satakarni. The competition is huge, but being a Chiru project there is a slight advantage that fans of the mega family are preparing in large numbers and have taken on themselves to promote the film. Now the movie will be a good return or not to chiru we have to wait and see.
