There were days when Chiranjeevi is address for new records in Tollywood and fans reverie for Megastar. Like everyone does mistakes, Chiru entering politics was a blunder. Before he realized his biggest mistake, things have gone out of control damaging his image a lot. Chiranjeevi lost many fans then, but his comeback is still a grand issue now.
The 150th film is confirmed as Kathilantodu in VV Vinayak direction and it is soon to get started. But there are few incidents happened in recent past that bothered his left over fans a lot. A man with stature of Chiranjeevi never needs to 'ask' any young director to work with him, that too for a prestigious landmark film.
During Subramanyam for sale audio event, Chiru requested Harish Shankar to write one for his 150th film and he asked Vamsi Paidipally about the same at that event. Megastar asked Dil Raju to produce a movie with him and also requested Shankar to make a film with him during Robo audio release event. Chiru did the same with Devisri Prasad during Sardaar audio launch and Mani Ratnam at another similar event. He asked Boyapati Seenu to get a good script for his 151st movie.
Chiru might be thinking it as his grounded and ego-free nature to ask new generation directors at public film events and infront of audience, but asking each and everyone to work for a film with him is sure creating a head banging situation for his hardcore fans.
Coming to the latest, Chiranjeevi's speech at Gauthamiputra Satakarni was too boring and exxaggerated, making audience feel that he lost his public speaking skills, that used to arrest audience to seats at any given event. Now his fans are afraid about his public speeches as if he may ask any technician to work for his 150th.
It looks like Chiru is desperate to score at least a decent hit with his 150th and his anxiety took so long, lots of stories, numerous directors and after a lot of dilly dallying, it is finally happening with a Tamil remake in VV Vinayak direction. Fans are feeling that their favourite Chiru is not the same as he lost his fame, charm, looks, knack of picking up hit scripts, speech power and some hair too. Nevertheless, Chiru was a Megastar then, he is a Megastar now...except that same words have different meanings.
