We are less than 48 hours from the release of Nagarjuna and Karthi's Oopiri. However it is emerging that the movie is facing some last minute issues which may plague the release. Some one have filed a case in a court of Tamil Nadu demanding that the movie release has to be stalled on the grounds of copyrights infringement.
They allege that they are the original rights hold of the film and PVP Cinemas have illegally made the film. The court will be hearing the case at 10.30 AM tomorrow. If the court issues stay as demanded by the complainant, then Oopiri and the release of its Tamil version, Thozha may be postponed until the issue is resolved.
In such case, it will be advantage to Run which will be losing majority of its theaters to Oopiri. The makers have always admitted that the movie is the remake of French Film - The Untouchables. The other day, Nagarjuna admitted that it is not a remake but an adaptation of the French film. Lets see what happens finally!
