Srimanthudu is a copy? Well, we do not know, but Sarath Chandra, who writes a weekly column, alleges that Srimanthudu is a copy of his story that got published in a popular magazine in the year 2012.
Koratala Siva, who led Mahesh Babu starrer "Srimanthudu," received applause from all over. The film also makes a lot of money and producers of movies Mytri left in joy. "Srimanthudu" is how a motivated guy takes a minute and the village grows.
Now Sarath Chandra, who writes a weekly column for Swathi Magazine, alleged that he wrote the original story Srimanthudu "Chachhenta Prema" and is published in Swathi Weekly Magazine in 2012. Chachhenta Prema is a story about the project Veligodu and how a man is expelled from a separate village and later his son returned to the village without the knowledge of his father.
The story looks Koratala Siva "Srimanthudu" and therefore Chandra has done so. He added that he wanted the same story with Nara Rohit, but could not do it for some reason.
Sarath said earlier, when the movie released, he did not know about it, as it was in Kerala on his personal work and had come to know from friends who called and informed.
Sarath Chandra filed a complaint against the Koratala Siva Writers Association for plagiarism.
