Jana Sena party chief and film actor Pawan Kalyan warned AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu that he would go on indefinite fast if the Government tries to forcibly acquire land from the farmers for the proposed capital region.
While speaking against forcible land acquisition, he was not critical of the land pooling system through which the Government had managed to get over 30,000 acres.The popular film actor, advised the farmers to form committee and maintain calm until he announces his future plans.

Pawan Kalyan also said there must be a social impact assessment when lands are acquired.Just now he tweeted that,"I urge Hon'ble CM of AP..Sri CBN garu not to use 'Land Acquisition act' on Fertile multi Cropped Lands of Undavalli,penumaka,Bethapudi..& other rivr front villages."
"We must know what impact it will have on the lives of landless labourers who live off the land," he said.Pawan Kalyan also said the government's orders to stop all cultivation at one go in the new capital development region is wrong. "The capital will be developed only in phases. So stopping cultivation can also happen in phases," he argued.
