Story :
ACP Kalyan (Venkatesh) is very kind at heart and does anything for needy. One he saw Nayanthara and he fallen in love. In that process he knowing that Nayanthara is facing some problems. For saving her from that problems he goes off duty for Nayanthara to help her. What is that problem? How did ACP Kalyan solved her problem? to know answers for these questions go and watch Babu Bangaram. After long gap Venkatesh came with Babu Bangaram. He acted well in ACP Kalyan role and makes us laugh with comedy timing. Venkatesh performed well in action episodes also. Nayanathara performance was good. Pruthvi Raj as Batthayi Babji makes us laugh with his comedy timing and scenes between Venkatesh and Pruthvi Raj are good. Sampath Raj acted well in his role as bad fellow
Posani Krishna Murali performance is good and remaining all acted well within their roles. This is the first film for director Maruthi who directed star hero for the first time. He also deals story and screenplay for the film. In one word Maruthi has failed to create magic in this movie with his direction and comedy sequences. He failed to create magic like in Bale Bale Mogadivoy. But he elevate heroism well in second half but he selected normal story for this film. Maruthi who had succeded with variety story line in BBM , could not repeat his magic this time in his first venture with Star Hero. Music director Ghibran gave decent music and back ground score. Cinematographer Richard Prasad gave decent visuals to films. He gave decent visuals for Mallela Vanala and Raaka Raaka Vachindhi songs.

Productions values are good. Dialogues of Darling Swamy are decent and editing work should be better than this. Editor should cut some scenes in both 1st half and 2nd half. Venkatesh, Posani Krishna Murali, Pruthivi Raj, Comedy Scenes in 1st half are the plus points. Minus Points in the filn are Routine Story, Predictable screenplay. Babu Bangaram is average flick. Director Maruthi selected ordinary script for Venkatesh, but still Venkatesh managed us with his acting skills. Some some scenes in 1st half and 2nd half are watchable and remaining scenes will check your patience. You can watch this film for Vintage Venkatesh performance. In the midst of enormous desires and after a major round of continuous promotions, Babu Bangaram is prepared to hit the screens overall today(August 12). Surely it is understood that the fans have pinned a lot of expectations on the film can Venky’s trademark situational comic drama has worked in parts. A one time watch film.
