We are just two days away from release of 'Kabali'. There is huge pressure on Director Pa.Ranjith as he knew fans might expect some 'Rajinism' from the movie. But 'Kabali' is not going to be one such movie.
Director Ranjith during his recent interview said that the Producer and Soudnarya Rajinikanth were completely unhappy with the climax and they requested him to change it after watching the movie. He said openly that both of them wanted to end the movie on a happy note.
But it was Rajinikanth who intervened and saved Ranjith from that situation and he asked Ranjith to retain that particular climax portion. He said, "Rajini sir called me after 3 days and asked me not to change anything as he felt it was an apt climax for the film."
He also said, Rajini was in tears after watching the movie. So going by his interview, it is obvious that the movie will be dry and it won't have any Rajinikanth elements inside it. Without Cliched Rajinism, will fans love it ? But one thing is for sure, for the first time, Rajini fans will walk out with tears instead of smiles.
