Mahesh Babu’s recent flick Brahmotsavam was released on 20th May and turned as an average grosser at the box office. Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu fame director Srikanth Addala has directed this family entertainer. Fans were eagerly waiting for this movie but after watching it, they were disappointed with the weak story line and direction.
One of the hard core fan of Mahesh Babu has written an open letter to express his feeling about the movie and posted in social networking sites (face book). He has written in Telugu !! He stated that Brahmotsavam contains weak story line which failed to hold the audience attention. He also said that the director did not utilize the acting skills of Mahesh Babu properly.
Even Though the story was about Joint family and moral values, it did not give any message to the audience, on the other hand Mahesh previous films Srimanthudu and Dookudu delivered good messages.In Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, he reinvented the multistarrer trend and showed Venkatesh and Mahesh in a well manner. But, coming to this film there is no emotion after interval and lot of characters are roped which was very confusing.
