Both Rana (Bhallala deva) and Prabhas (Baahubali) will love Anushka (Deva sena) and Ramya Krishna (Shivagami) wants her son Rana to marry Anushka. But Anushka who really loves Prabhas says no to Rana. Anushka will marry Prabhas after this. Angry with the rejection from Anushka, Ramya Krishnan who acted in favor of Prabhas in the first part ,will become a villain in the second part. Moreover Rana kills Prabhas so that he can marry Anushka.
Later Ramya Krishnan will come to know the original nature of her husband Nasser (Bijjala devudu) and son Rana and regrets in the end. This is where she wanted to save the child, the son of Prabhas which was showed in the first part beginning.
